Day 2 had an interesting line up of keynote speakers. It started off with another conversation of Tim O’Reilly with Martin Varsavsky of FON.
What caught our attention was the personal spin in the questions that Tim asked. Stuff like “What does your life look like?”. There seems to be more focus on personality then technology here what we really like.
Saul Klein shared his thoughts on the European venture scene and basically gave some ideas on how to survive the current crisis.
Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino of Tinker It talked about open source hardware. She presented five challenges the community is currently facing and asked the web 2.0 community for help. Very, very inspiring what these modern-day hackers are doing and how it’s changing their understanding of technology and design.
Leisa Reichelt talked about open source design and her work for the redesign of Drupal. Just amazing how much stuff you can do collaborative with a passionate community.
Rafi Haladjian of Violet blew our minds with an introduction of their new product, a rfid reading mirror.
