I’m in London for the weekend for the Social Media Camp, which is happening this saturday at the Wallacespace. This is my first international barcamp and my first special interest camp. But more of my observations about that later. First, I want to give you an inside look at the place and the day.
I took my camera and recorded a video walking through the whole building. This place is hands down the best barcamp place I have ever been to. It even beats the Unperfekthaus in Essen, Germany because it has style and the most amazing food.
Here are a few more impressions of the day.
The Wallacespace
Yes, definitly a barcamp.
An early session plan, definitly not out of beta yet.
Typical session.
Really amazing food provided by the house. Seems like there are not that much food startups in Britian then there are in Germany. Poor guys…
Yeah, right, a lot more people are wishing they would be here.
To be honest I’m hoping that this focus on quality food which I have experienced at two camps in a row will become a general trend for this season of barcamps and conferences. Because I always have the best times talking with people over a good dish. Most of the times way better then in the sessions.
